The Champs Open Crans Montana

The Champs Open is Europe's most established boarding competition and
draws the finest riders from our continent and beyond. This year's 4*
TTR Slope-Style event was held on the 8th of Feb 2008, the park set up
was truly  amazing and saw Billy Neilson, Jack Shackleton and Sam Cullum
repping for the UK competing against some snowboarding's greats.

With his baby blue outfit Swiss rider Anthony Holland came close to a podium
 position, doing well enough to earn 4th, Fellow compatriats Stefan Maurer
 and Gian Simmen pushed hard coming 3rd and 2nd respectively,
  and the winner is......................... Jaako Ruha of Finland who absolutely
dominated proceedings, stomping a huge 1080 over the swatch hip, then 
following that up with a perfect  rodeo 540, his hits through the pipe
 weren't too shady either, with super huge airs, stylish grabs, corked spins 
and soft landings the verdict was never in doubt ..... JAAKO RUHA Champ.
