MORZINE
2009
The first trip of the 2009
season, promised to be an epic one, following up on the
LG Freeze 08 Photo-shoot I decided to switch things up for the season, hunting
down
Luke Paull, Billy Morgan and & Will Nangle for an on mountain ride
and shoot.
Flying was out of the question, with the amount of kit I planned to take
I would have
needed to charter my own jet, so a road trip it was then! Leaving Dover
behind
and looking ahead to the first pow pow shred, Morzine didn't seem so far
away.

Travelling through France is a dream, bit of an expensive dream,
but
paying the tolls are worth it, for the opportunity to cruise the length
of the country
traffic and roadwork free !!
Not one traffic cone............bliss, picked up
snow-chains en route
word ! hit Morzine at midnight and headed
straight to the
Eazy Riderz chalet, bish bosh bang. When Luke said "just aim for the Town
Centre you'll see us there" he wasn't joking, nice! twas good to be among
friends as Luke
and fiance Jen welcomed me with a cold beer and the 118,
nothing left to do but dream about
tomorrow's runs.
Billy Morgan
Staying in the Eazy Riderz chalet was cool, 2 large bathrooms, 3 double
rooms and one
bunk room sleeping up to ten pepes comfortably. The chalet can be rented
en block or
by individual rooms, the chalet / penthouse boasts an entertainment
centre that
includes widescreen TV, Xbox, dvd player, large luxury lounge, the whole place is
tastefully decorated, No Deer Heads, stuffed weasels or fox's here.

Run by boarders, Eazy Riderz are accomplished riders and as part of booking a
weeks stay
adventurous guests have an optional service to be guided by their host for an
afternoon.
The Riderz credentials are second to none Luke Paull is an Atomic Team
Rider and as you
can see in the the Atomic Board Test gallery demonstrates, why for
the past decade he
has been one of the UK's most exciting snowboarder's. Jenna is an accomplished
boarder
and has been riding seasons in Avoriaz for 6 years now and knows the area inside out.
Eazy
riderz and Questx are all about the progression of snowboarding, so when
Luke said I should pop over to the "Zine" to check out a new snowboarding
talent,
I knew I would be in for a treat, described as the "Bertie Basset looking mofo
hitting up the park", camera on backpack, I tracked him down in no time.
