this Big Air event so close to Christmas, the FIS World Cup tour rolled into
Sofia
adding to the festive spirit,
10 000 revellers braved the -4 degree winter
chill
to witness some of the finest riders in the world pull out all the stops
in the quest to
earn the all important FIS World Cup Points and a share of the
£14,000 prize money
for coming in
the top four.
The day started with
Janne Korpi FIN
maintaining his excellent
form to qualify top of
heat
one. Other
